Gardner Denver and Elmo Rietschle are not two competitors: they are the same blower heritage carrying different names at different periods. Elmo Rietschle was the former Siemens blower business, and the machines are still known in the market under both the Gardner Denver and the Elmo Rietschle name, and by many customers simply as the original Siemens fan.
Because the lineage is shared, the model designations carry across: a G-2BH1 supplied under one name is the same machine as the G-2BH1 supplied under the other. What matters when ordering spare parts is the model and serial number on the plate, not the brand printed above it.
