Elektror RD-ATEX Explosion-Proof Centrifugal Fan

Technical description

The RD-ATEX is the explosion-proof version of the RD series, built to the DIN EN 14986 standard with the explosion protection applied to the fan itself rather than to the motor alone. Capacity is up to 90 m3/min and it is suitable for zones 1, 2 and 22.

The casing is a cast aluminium part and the backward-curved rotor is aluminium, which keeps the unit corrosion resistant as well as explosion-proof.

Flow, differential pressure and motor rating depend on the impeller stage and the motor fitted. Send us the duty point — required flow, pressure or vacuum level, conveyed media, temperature, voltage and area classification — and we will confirm the exact model, stage count and motor.
