Technical description

The liquid ring compressor uses the same operating principle as the vacuum pump but is configured to compress gas above atmospheric pressure. It is used where the process gas is wet, hot or corrosive and a dry compressor would be damaged by carry-over.

Close to isothermal compression keeps discharge temperatures low, which protects both the machine and the downstream process.
