Technical description

Energy efficiency rules for industrial fans have tightened sharply. GB 28381-2026 Minimum allowable values of energy efficiency and energy efficiency grades for blowers was issued on 31 March 2026 and becomes mandatory on 1 April 2027, replacing GB 28381-2012. The IEC 60034-30-2:2023 standard introduces IE5 ultra-premium efficiency motors, and equipment exported to the EU has to clear a higher threshold again.

The efficiency grades run IE1 (standard) → IE2 (high) → IE3 (premium) → IE4 (super premium) → IE5 (ultra premium). We supply blowers and vacuum pumps fitted with IE3, IE4 or IE5 motors so the installation meets the threshold that applies in the destination market, and we can provide the efficiency documentation your project file will need.
